Yash Tosar – Managing Director
Yash leads the 1st Financial Foundations team. He is instrumental in cultivating strong relationships with clients and has core competencies in wealth management and property investment. Yash formed 1st Financial Foundations after spending nearly twenty years in the financial services industry. He stresses the importance of personalising services to meet clients’ financial needs and goals.
Yash is actively involved in the Lions Club of London where he helps to raise funds for various charities. In addition, he participates in the charities of Careducation, The Dr. Mehjabine Shafi Cancer Foundation and the children’s charity, The Cariad Foundation. Through his philanthropic efforts he has helped these worthwhile causes reach their financial targets.
Richard Petts – Independent Financial Advisor/Pension Specialist
Richard has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry and has been an IFA for 20 years. Richard has majored on advising clients, both individual and corporate, on all aspects of their pension planning and has an in-depth knowledge of self-invested pension schemes and pension transfers. This brings additional skills to the team and complements the other services offered. He also works closely with a client’s other professional advisers to deliver integrated solutions. Richard adopts a positive approach to pension planning, and can usually find solutions to most pension scenarios through a combination of listening to and thoroughly understanding his clients needs, and applying his knowledge and experience.
Richard is actively involved in his local community and church helps to run a local youth club.
Anita Ravalia – Independent Mortgage Adviser
Anita has been involved in the financial services industry for three years and specialises in mortgages and protection advice. Anita has built a strong property portfolio in record time and helps her clients achieve income streams through property investments. Through education, Anita provides clients with the knowledge required to succeed financially and create awareness with regards to financial products. Her commitment to clients and services has helped her increase her client base and expertise with mortgages and property investing. Anita is progressing in the industry through her dedication to clients and understanding of the business. Additionally Anita is qualified to help in the planning wills.
Jackie Jones – Investment Adviser Assistant
Jackie has ten years’ experience in the financial services industry and has qualified as an independent financial adviser. Prior to working in financial services, she worked in accounting in a supportive role. Jackie helps the team in a facilitative role with investment advisers and other supporting functions. She is currently studying to become a planning assistant, a role that she will take on within 1st First Financial Foundations. Jackie is also qualified to help with the planning of Wills.
Shushma Vaja – Office Administrator
Shusham is likely the first person that clients speak with when calling the office. Shushma plays a key role in the daily operations of 1st Financial Foundations and ensures that client matters are directed to the appropriate parties, provides administrative support to the mortgage advisers.
